"Jean-Pierre Aviotte's distinctive choreographic style is based on classical ballet technique and is enriched with substantial original features. With french elegance, charm and personal invention, he is able to imprint a poetic aspect, encoded in gesture and pace, to his choreography, allowing us to perceive the dance as a graceful and “pure act of metaphor”.
